Due to other responsibilities of our volunteer staff, it looks like Mizozo will be left to autopilot for the next few months. Come January, things will still be changing ... but until then, I fear that not a great deal of time will be available by myself and others that are helping out.
Interestingly enough, much of this stems from the Stumbleupon Soft Ban. While there isn't a direct relationship, these past two months have seen a dramatic drop in Mizozo's viewership, a drop which makes writing all the more difficult. Of course, we are still seeing over 20,000 page views per day, but previously our numbers were almost twice that on average, with peaks that reached almost 10 times that. Those peaks seemed to be the driver of many of our writers, and without them the excitement seems to have faded.
We expect that once the competitive edge is added to Mizozo, where we will be giving out prizes and paying out dividends, the excitement will return. Who wouldn't want to win cool gadgets or interesting gifts each month? In the meantime, though, things will be a bit quieter here on the blogging front due to the fact that not much will be going on. New articles will, of course, be posted daily to Mizozo (unfortunately predominantly in the Entertainment category) and we will keep our Monthly reports going, but with little going on behind the scenes blogging about it will be all the more difficult.
None the less, stay tuned for more insight into our future plans, our future goals, and interesting developments. One things for sure, Mizozo will keep you entertained for decades to come.
