4725 Articles Removed From Mizozo - More May Soon Follow

In an effort to become more Google friends, Mizozo has taken steps to remove 4725 articles from its servers. The articles that have been removed fall into two categories, Spam and Copied Content. We will continue to analyze our articles, possibly removing more.

We  had previously mentioned how we were no longer going to copy content from other sites, we have now decided that it isn't in our interest to keep these articles on our server at all so we have removed them. If your site was one of the ones previously copied, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we feel that it is in the best interest of Mizozo to keep the site as Google friendly as possible, hence such a move was made.

As for Spam, until today we have been reasonably tolerant of spam like articles. So long as the content was more than a link and some basic text, we allowed the articles to be posted. We have changed our position on these types of articles and now require predominantly original content. You can still link to your site if you wish, you simply now need to put forth effort into making the Mizozo article unique and meaningful, not simply copying chunks of the content from one place and pasting them elsewhere.

In the next day or so we will be putting together a list of new requirements for what we expect of all articles on Mizozo. This, too, will have to deal with content, although we are not planning on taking any steps to purge Mizozo of previously posted articles that do not conform to the new rules. However, we do reserve the right to remove anything from our server at any time for any reason.

Thank you, we now return you to your regularly scheduled program ...
